A 16th-century margravial precursor palace. Today home to the Pfinzgau Museum and the Carpathian German Museum.
Until Karlsruhe was founded, the Karlsburg was the residence of the Margraves of Baden. A Renaissance building from the 16th century with later Baroque alterations, it today houses the Pfinzgau Museum on the local history of Durlach.
