Karlsruhe Palace
Karlsruhe Palace was built from 1715 by Margrave Karl Wilhelm as his residence and the geometric centre of the new fan-shaped city. From the 42-metre-high palace tower, 32 streets and avenues radiate outward to the south. Today the palace houses the Baden State Museum with extensive archaeological and cultural-history collections.
